The preschool program at Petsworth Baptist Weekday Preschool is designed to encourage and develop the academic and social skills necessary for the pre kindergarten program and eventually kindergarten. In addition to an introduction to academics, we stress moral values, spiritual attributes, discipline, good manners and responsibility. The daily activities in our preschool class reinforce these principles. A major goal of our program is to develop positive self-esteem in each child while promoting a love for learning. Because this is the child’s first school experience, we strive to make it a positive, healthy and enjoyable time so that he/she will look forward to future education with enthusiasm.
