Missions Trip

In August 2024, an exciting opportunity awaits us to serve the Lord on a mission trip to Uganda. Our dedicated team, comprised of Frank Villa, Brandon Wiggs, and Bill Girard, eagerly anticipates your participation in this transformative journey. We are scheduled to depart on August 16th and return on August 31st. Our itinerary includes flying into Entebbe, Uganda, followed by a 3-hour drive to join Pastor Brian White, Jerilyn, their children (Cadie, Noah, and Allie), the Good Shepherd’s Fold (GSF) staff, and the Pastor Training Center Teachers in their mission.

During our time there, our ministry will encompass a variety of activities, including:

• Teaching the Evangelism/Discipleship Course at one or more of the Pastor Training Centers (PTCs) and engaging in evangelism with the students to spread the Gospel in local villages.
• Providing support and ministering to Pastor White’s family, the PTC teaching staff, and the missionaries at GSF.
• Collaborating with Petsworth, the White family’s sending church, to assess how they can further support Pastor White and GSF.

Your support is invaluable to us, primarily through prayer. Intercessory prayer is powerful and sustains us, as emphasized in James 5:16, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Additionally, financial contributions are needed, with each team member responsible for covering personal expenses such as vaccinations, prescriptions, passports, and visas. The estimated trip cost is $2,400 per person, totaling $7,200. We trust in God’s provision and ask for your prayers that the necessary funds will be raised.

In the event that unforeseen circumstances prevent our participation, your gifts will be used to support the short-term mission trip to Uganda and/or the church’s missions program.
