Dr. Clint Miller -Senior Pastor
Dr. Clint Miller was born and raised outside of Atlanta, Georgia. He was blessed of God to grow up in a godly home. He never remembers a time in which his family did not go to church. Some of his fondest childhood memories were formed at “the deer-land” in Monticello, GA.
Christmas of 1996 was a great time in Dr. Miller’s life. He met and soon married his best friend, Tammy Miller. Tammy was a native south Mississippi-girl, with the accent and good looks to prove it! God has blessed them with two wonderful children, Clinton and Madison.
Dr. Miller earned a B.A. and a M.Ed. from the University of West Georgia before beginning his seminary training at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. After a decade of academic preparation, God enabled him to earn a M.Div. in pastoral ministry, a Th.M. in Historical and Theological Studies, and complete a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology. He is committed to expositional preaching of the Word of God and to teaching theology and Christian history to the church.
Dr. Miller enjoys all types of outdoor activities: hunting, fishing, softball, and golf. He is an avid weightlifter. He has a great appreciation for the acquisition of knowledge and enjoys reading. He has a great love for his family and enjoys spending time with his wife and his children, especially at Disney World.

John Hantz - Interim Worship Leader
John Hantz was born in Lubbock, Texas but spent the majority of his childhood and teen years growing up in Rapid City, South Dakota, and Kenai, Alaska respectively. He has always loved and been involved with music from as early as when his father played guitar and sang to him when John was in his mother’s womb, to school choirs, and bands from elementary through high school, all the while using his gifts in the local churches he attended. He was saved and became the church pianist at First Baptist Church of Kenai at age 13 where he grew as a believer and served for 5 years.
John left Kenai, Alaska after high school to attend Southeastern College at Wake Forest where he met his wife Dawn who matriculated at the same time but from a different region of the U.S. entirely; namely, Gloucester, VA. They met shortly after their first semester began, were engaged six months later, and married on September 4th, 2004. John served as Minister of Music and Youth at Fishing Creek Baptist Church in Warrenton North Carolina while taking undergraduate classes at Southeastern Seminary.
John and Dawn have one daughter, Melody, who was born in May of 2009 in Helena, Montana where John was employed with the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Control Specialist. After living in Montana for more than a year, and then Boise, Idaho for two years (while working with the FAA) John desired to get back into doing what he loved most which is music ministry. God‘s providence has brought them back to Dawn’s home town of Gloucester, and to Petsworth Baptist Church where she was saved as a teenager.
